The 33d Hetchins event will take place the third w/e of July, 18th - 20th 2025, near Banbury (Oxf.). The event is open to all classic bikes and classic-bike enthusiasts, all marques and vintages are welcome to attend.
We are returning to the format familiar from previous years:
Friday 18th July:
afternoon arrivals, check-in to hotel(s), easy ride to local pubs (The Castle at Edghill, or Moon & Sixpence). Tomfoolery at dinner (Wroxton House Hotel, or the pubs, as you like it).
Saturday 19th July:
late morning assembly at HQ (Wroxton), circumnavigate to lunch stop (The Castle); circumnavigate to afternoon tea stop (Moon & Sixpence); return to HQ, showers. Later afternoon: drive/cycle to Golden Age Cycles (Adderbury) to tour the Gallery. Evening: dinner at HQ, entertainment programme.
Sunday 20th July:
Several optional programmes: breakfast at Hook Norton Brewery, tour of brewery (stairs!), short ride, longer ride, depart for home.
HQ (morning start, evening finish, dinner/entertainment): Wrotxon House Hotel. Those wishing accommodations, kindly contact the hotel directly (mention you're part of the cycling event).
