GRAMOPHONE RECORDS & COVERS

In the 1920s Hetchin sold gramophones and bicycles. This was not uncommon at the time; others sold sewing machines and bicycles. The bicycle business was more lucrative and Hetchin dropped the gramophone side of the business in the 1930s. Note the address given at 780 Seven Sisters Road; Hetchin acquired the next-door space, 782, in 1932 and had new record covers printed. A few original 78 rpm records & covers survive.
