The Hetchins Ride, 2023
The 31st Hetchins ride took place, in reduced format, on Saturday 9th Sept 2023. The event was sponsored under the aegis of Golden Age Cycles Gallery in Adderbury, Oxfordshire. Approximately 20 people attended, 12 rode, and several met us along the way for tea and lunch at the planned stops. Many familiar faces, and some new ones, greeted us. Several bikes not seen before also debuted. Due to the heat, we kept the routes short, approx. 10 miles out to elevenses at the Moon and Sixpence in Hanwell, then a short hop to lunch at the Wroxton House Hotel in Wroxten. From Wroxten, riders made their way back to Edgehill by various routes (each to his own, depending on hilliness and distance).
