This 21.5 in curly frame with fluted seat tube was sold to Mr G Greeves on 4 August 1939 for £13.9s.10d. The frame was rescued from a man who was going to throw it out. The frame and forks were in good condition no damage or rust; it had been badly painted blue and had no transfers or markings on it. The bike was restored over two years, using period components where possible. Chater-lea crankset and pedals; Airlite large flange hubs, 4-speed on one side, fixed cog on the other side; 27 in. Weinmann rims; Reynolds stem; Tour de France bars; CLB competition brakes and levers. This is one of only three Trios known to have survived.
